Delta Symphony Children's Choir

The DSO Children’s Chorus began in 2005 as a project to combine young voices in order to give them an opportunity of performing with a symphony. This is an outgrowth of an idea of DSO Board Member, Robin Yates, who originally brought together young musicians at the Forum in Jonesboro. Each year a clinician works tirelessly to organize the program for our Annual Young Artist Concert, visiting all schools to rehearse the music for the performances. At each school, the choir teachers work for weeks to select 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to prepare them for the event. Below, you will find the names of the wonderful teachers and their school children who participate each year in the event.
