DYSO Audition Information

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS & PROCEDURES:

Musician Requirements:

In order to participate in the Delta Youth Symphony Orchestra, musicians must:

● Be currently enrolled in their school music program and/or currently take private music lessons.

● Be no younger than 12 and no older than 18 on September 1, 2025.

● Submit an online application

● Adhere to the attendance policy and other policies as outlined in the Musician’s Handbook.

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Delta Youth Symphony Orchestra.

The information collected in this application is used to help us communicate with you and plan for the season ahead, as well as used to report to funders about the reach of our programs, and to help with future audition outreach. Audition judges do not have access to your application and acceptance decisions are based solely on your performance ability.
